Yes, that's me — Kailas Pramodh
Leading UX research and design systems at enterprise scale — and using AI to build systems that adapt to people, turning legacy complexity into products they trust.
As a principal‑level UX architect and product design leader, I align business strategy, design systems, and engineering reality to ship experiences that scale across platforms and teams — increasingly powered by my Agentic Design Systems (ADS) framework.
Profile
My work sits at the intersection of UX research, design systems architecture, and enterprise platform strategy. Currently working as a UX researcher and service-blueprint expert at JPMorgan Chase, I move comfortably from greenfield product definition to refactoring legacy ecosystems — always grounding decisions in mixed-methods research, information architecture, and accessibility. I started out as a developer, so I build alongside the team as readily as I research and strategize.
Over 20 years I have led UX for Fortune 500 platforms, complex B2B tools, and high-growth products — partnering with executives, product owners, and engineering leadership to translate ambiguous problem spaces into scalable, measurable outcomes.
Leadership record
Numbers first, story after — this is the shape of two decades of leading design and engineering teams.
Ran one of the largest design orgs of my career — and cut design inconsistencies 60% across 10+ global products by putting a shared system in place. Named Brand Ambassador.
Thomson Reuters · 2004–2014Directed web, UX and brand as one function — hiring, growing and retaining the team while the product scaled.
Replicon · 2014–2017Started as Engineering Manager (10 developers, 4 QA, 1 architect), then was chosen to run UX as Program Manager — owning budget, vendors, contractors, scope and milestones — because I speak engineers' language.
Honeywell · 2020–2023Redesign project on one of the highest-traffic checkout experiences on the web — where a single percentage point is real money.
PayPal · client projectLed the design team on Synchrony Financial engagements — research and UX delivery inside compliance-heavy constraints.
Capgemini · 2018–2020UX researcher & service-blueprint expert on a greenfield mainframe-modernization program — research feeds the blueprint, the blueprint feeds the PRD, and an agentic-AI pipeline turns it into working software.
JPMorgan Chase · currentThe through-line: FTE leadership roles through Honeywell, senior consulting engagements since. Contract roles don't carry org charts — the leadership muscle is the same.
